๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ2/22 - George Washington's Birthday

George Washington was the first directly elected representative in world history and the first president of the United States.

George Washington was the first president of the United States. For the first time in world history, he was the first head of state in the world to have a fixed term rather than hereditary by blood. As the commander-in-chief of the Continental Army, at first, the American people recognized him as a monarch like a king and felt distant from each other, but gradually he played a major role in the founding and revolutionary process of the United States, becoming the first and last unanimous president in the 1789 US presidential election. After the establishment of the federal government, he laid the foundation for the customs and duties of each branch of the government during his tenure as president. Afterwards, he became a famous politician who was called "the founding father of the United States."
